Recycling Made Simpler

I’ve added two new tools to take the guesswork out of recycling. The new Waste A–Z Guide makes it easier to find clear guidance for everyday items, while Local Recycling Locations helps you find nearby places, see what they accept and get directions before setting off.

Waste A–Z Guide

Search for common household items and quickly find clear guidance on whether they can be reused, recycled or need to be disposed of another way. You can also browse the guide alphabetically when you’re not sure exactly what to search for.

Local Recycling Locations

Find Local Recycling Locations across Fife directly through BinDay Fife. See what materials each location accepts, check the distance, get directions and open the official information before making the journey.

Continued Improvements

I’ve also continued improving the app throughout, making information clearer, navigation smoother and the overall experience more reliable.

I’m always working to make BinDay Fife more useful, and there’s plenty more still to come.

Small Bug Fix Update

A small update to tidy up collection date refreshes. The app should now feel smoother when checking for updated bin dates, with clearer messages and less jumping about on the Home screen.
